Landmark Building
The proposals keep an elegant, landmark building to mark the gateway to the new Canada Water town centre, which takes its inspiration from the iconic Canada Water library. This building will be of exemplary design and will form an attractive focal point for the area.

The site is an appropriate location for a tall building because of its point of landmark significance and its excellent accessibility to public transport links, being situated adjacent to Canada Water Underground and Bus Station. The proposed tall building is located outside all protected viewing corridors. It will consolidate the existing tall buildings at Columbia and Regina Point enhancing the existing skyline, forming a cluster of tall buildings marking Canada Water station, the new library and plaza. The building will enhance the public realm of the area and generate an active frontage, which will take the form of a dramatic double height space at ground level.
