Canada Water regeneration programme
The exciting Canada Water regeneration programme led by Southwark Council and BL Canada Quays Ltd; will aim to deliver a vibrant new town centre for Rotherhithe, where people will come to shop, socialise or sit by the dockside. The Canada Water regeneration programme will bring 2,700 new homes (35% are affordable), new retail and office space, leisure facilities with a new library and creation of a new civic square at the heart of Canada Water.

Southwark Council's Planning Committee on the 1st December 2009 gave a resolution to grant planning consent on the final application for the first phase of regeneration at Canada Water.
