Regeneration Partners
Southwark Council is working jointly with master developer BL Canada Quays to regenerate Canada Water.
Southwark Council leads a large regeneration programme covering around 40% of the borough. Major projects at Peckham, Canada Water, Elephant and Castle, Aylesbury and Bermondsey Spa are using the council's extensive landholdings as a catalyst for regeneration - raising aspirations and providing opportunities for local residents.
BL Canada Quays Ltd is a 50/50 joint venture between British Land and Canada Quays. British Land is one of Europe's largest property companies and one of the industry's most respected developers. Canada Quays Ltd is a regeneration specialist with great experience as developers of complex public/private urban regeneration schemes. David Taylor fronts the highly experienced team.
